Leaperkim’s First 126V Electric Unicycle
All Terrain 18″ Single Wheel

Power, durability, and comfort are the hallmarks of the highly anticipated 126V Veteran Patton. Representing the pinnacle of performance, the Patton stands as the latest flagship suspension electric unicycle from Leaperkim, a Chinese premium electric vehicle company specializing in single-wheeled personal mobility solutions.

The Patton boasts a riding range of up to 112 kilometres on a single charge, courtesy of its high-quality 2,220WH Samsung 50S battery pack. This heavyweight wheel features an aviation-grade aluminum alloy body weighing 40.37 kilograms. Equipped with anti-collision battery cases and a mid-mounted oil-based suspension system with 80mm of travel, the Patton ensures a smooth ride over rugged terrain.

The Veteran Patton is poised to dominate the electric unicycle scene in 2023 with its unparalleled performance and exhilarating torque, earning praise from EUC enthusiasts worldwide. Let’s delve into the specifications, features, and design elements that make the Patton the ultimate choice for daily commuters and long-distance adventurers.

Power:
High Torque Motor

The Patton boasts a peak power rating of 7 KW, capable of delivering 680A of peak current and reaching speeds of up to 80 km/h on a full charge. Leaperkim has ingeniously packed 126 volts of torque into this 18-inch wheel, providing unmatched performance. Despite its weight of 40.37 kilograms, the Patton remains stable, thanks to its sturdy chassis. The updated controller system allows riders to customize power settings according to their preferences.

Featuring a double-layered 126V controller for enhanced protection, an aluminum substrate for efficient heat conduction, and copper bars and columns for accelerated heat dissipation, the Patton ensures optimal performance under heavy loads.

The Patton's motor, crafted from magnesium alloy, features reinforced rims and side covers, along with an oil-sealed waterproofing process on the bearings. With a nominal or peak power output of 3KW or 7 KW, respectively, the Patton sets new standards in electric unicycle performance. Additionally, Leaperkim has introduced a Bluetooth-enabled Android app, enabling riders to access system diagnostics and customize settings via their smartphones.

With a top speed ranging between 72-80 km/h, depending on rider weight and road conditions, the Patton offers exhilarating acceleration and effortless hill climbing capabilities. The inclusion of two-layered top panels enhances protection against water damage, corrosion, electrical shorts, and physical damage, while also waterproofing the controller. A larger display provides comprehensive ride information, and the high-speed mode allows for maximum free spin at speeds of up to 83.7 km/h, or 104.6 km/h with high-speed mode activated. Furthermore, the angle protection feature offers eight levels of adjustment, allowing riders to fine-tune their acceleration stance.

Battery Pack:
126V 2,220WH Samsung 50S

In ideal riding conditions (smooth surface, medium mode, 72.57 kg rider, moderate 32.19 km/h speeds), the Patton can output up to 112.65 kilometres of riding or commute range per charge. Thrillseekers taking the Patton off-road, up steep climbs, and high gradients can expect 48.28 to 96.56 kilometres of mixed-conditions EUC riding.

The 126V Samsung Packs use INR217000-50S cells, 2,220 watt-hour capacity (2 sets, 30 strings, 2 parallel configurations), and BMS monitoring for charging rate and temperature (more details to come). The BMS allows for 15A max dual charge ports, allowing owners to fast charge their wheels last minute before a commute to the office or during a group ride rest stop. Leaperkim has also added anti-collision energy-absorption boxes to the packs, making them safer in a fall.

All of our Leaperkim battery packs go through stringent QC checks before shipping to our warehouses; they’re covered under our one-year warranty and should last many years.

Real-world riding range can vary between 48.28-112.65 kilometres of fast or slow-speed riding
126V system provides unbelievable speed and off-the-line torque
Samsung 50S features higher density, higher discharge, and lower internal resistance than standard electric unicycle battery pack cells
Low battery mode: low voltage, tilt back alarms

    Suspension:
    Fastace Mid-mount Suspension 80MM

In 2023, the mid-mount suspension system by Fastace and Leaperkim may provide the best damping and comfort on the market. The hydraulic system uses Fastace technology from downhill mountain biking. It has 12/18 clicks of compression and rebound, 12mm preload adjustments, a 37mm stanchion, and an overall shock absorption stroke of 80mm.

Many EUC riders in the community praise the Leaperkim Sherman-S for having the most comfortable suspension systems on the market; the Patton uses the same patented suspension technology. There are three weight options to choose from. Please reach out to us if you need recommendations. Please note that suspension modules are swappable; please consider full net load when selecting options.

26.31 kg Options: for riders weighing up to 79.38 kg
28.12 kg Options: for riders weighing up to 79.38-108.86 kg
29.94 kg Options: for riders weighing up to 108.86 kg

      Features:
The Patton features are designed to give this industrial wheel an all-terrain design with useful everyday amenities.
Display: The updated top-mounted parameter display has a more extensive interface, shows more technical parameters, has a two-layer inner and outer cover, and is better protected from rain.
Trolley Handle: Leaperkim chose a classic studier handle over the newer folding style. These built-in handles are firmer, adjustable in height, and sturdier by design.
Jumping Aide: The new front-mounted help gives you more control when going over rougher terrain. Leaperkim is the first to introduce this style of adjustable module. Please be aware that the Patton can’t reach its full potential without jumping pads that you buy separately. Leaperkim has not released side pads for this iteration. We stock aftermarket side pads that can be velcroed on the side panels for more control.
Spiked Pedals: The adjustable pedals are made of Magnesium alloy, which makes them more durable, and they have loaded tension to make them more stable and stop them from flapping around when you’re getting on or off. The spikes have been improved from the last Sherman-S iteration and allow for more grip during acceleration and braking.
External Buzzer: The external speaker will notify if the wheel is on a lower battery or near cut-out/brown-out speeds and loads. Riders can expect buzzing and tilt back when reaching lower battery voltages (97V, 94.5V, 87V)
Lighting: 2,000LM dual 18W headlights, a rear taillight, and auto-turning signals allow riders to see and be seen in day and night riding conditions. The lighting package on the Patton is some of the brightest lamps on the current market, allowing for safer riding conditions.

      Build Quality:
While the Patton commands a premium price, it is also a heavy-duty machine and was made to withstand hard falls or spills. The 89-pound chassis of the Patton is Leaperkim’s most advanced design. It was created to help absorb the impact if a rider gets their wheel in a collision.
The body has a heavier, integral 7071 aviation-grade alloy body/handles and dual anti-collision battery boxes, keeping your battery packs and motor safer during a spill. The Veteran series’ design language, geometry, robust build, look and feel are molded after US military battle tanks.
With the newest crash test videos from Leaperkim, we can see that the Patton shell is unharmed, which protects the battery and solidifies Leaperkim’s reputation for making some of the most popular, well-built, and quality-controlled wheels on the EUC market.
      • First-in-class 7071 wheels with alloy components for lightweight chassis, strength, corrosion resistance, and machinability
      • Leaperkim features some of the highest-created chassis in the EUC market
      • Patton chassis was designed to be strong, durable, lightweight, and provide a high level of protection to its battery pack and core components, essential to the performance and reliability of this machine for the long term
      • eWheels units go through thorough 3rd party QA inspection for battery packs, motors, firmware, and more
